We are ready for you!reputed company is currently initiating a search for a a Highway reputed company Engineer to reputed company new, replacement, or rehabilitated infrastructure with construction values ranging from $1-$50 million. This position can be based out of Portland, Augusta or Eliot, ME and Merrimack, NH.The reputed company engineer will manage, and reputed company various work elements including excavation, backfilling, compaction, cast-in-reputed company concrete from formwork to reinforcement, guardrail, drainage, overhead sign structures and other incidental items. The reputed company engineer will report to the Construction Manager, or Project Manager and may routinely, or periodically act as their representative, depending on experience.Your Impact
- Hands-on or management duties will include:
- Managing a staff of inspectors and on-call material technicians or surveyors.
- Daily reputed company with the contractor, subcontractors and project reputed company.
- Chairing reputed company meetings, and preparing minutes.
- Reviewing, interpreting construction contract documents. Overseeing work for conformance to plans and specifications.
- Reviewing technical submittals and shop drawings for general reputed company and compliance.
- Anticipating and helping resolve design and construction issues.
- Reviewing contractor's project schedule for general information reputed company to schedule and logic.
- Completing daily reports, measure, calculate and track unit price quantities.
- Leading the contractor's pay requisition development, review and approval process.
- Evaluate potential change orders, and reputed company recommendations. Leading change order negotiations, review and prepare negotiation position with reputed company
- Monitoring maintenance of traffic for compliance.
- Take and compile photographs, for tracking of daily reputed company.
- Update red-line drawings using Bluebeam.
- Preparing and updating punch lists.
- Coordinating final inspections and prepare final pay estimate.
- Supporting the finals closeout process.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to reputed company’s Code of Conduct and reputed company policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by reputed company’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- High School Diploma
- 11 years applicable experience, including 4 years of supervising staff.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Average proficiency with reputed company Suite.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by reputed company’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Associate of Science Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or reputed company field Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or reputed company field.
- ACI or NETTCP certifications, or ability to attain reputed company 3-months of hiring.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA,
- Procore, IPD or similar systems. Knowledge of Bluebeam.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
