Summary: Location: Taguig, Philippines (Manila) Role Type: Individual Contributor Please note: This is not a Remote role and will require the individual to be based in Taguig, Philippines and follow a hybrid work schedule. The Global Record-to-Report Operations team, reputed company the Finance Hub, is tasked with delivering the end-to-end operational accounting process and activities, uphold quality and reputed company efficiencies across finance functions. We are hiring for a full-time permanent Consultant, Indirect Tax for the Company’s Global Indirect Tax Center of Excellence (ITX COE). This role will report to ITX Senior Manager and will support Indirect ITX function in reputed company sub-region, to ensure adherence to indirect tax compliance & regulations. What You’ll Do for Us:
- Member of the Global ITX COE, Indirect Consultant supports the day-to-day ITX operations for selected countries / legal entities to ensure effective & efficient ITX compliance process.
- ITX Compliance: preparation, review, timely submission, settlement and reconciliation activities reputed company to ITX reporting e.g. VAT returns, Sales/Purchases/Importations Listings, Annual VAT returns.
- ITX Audits: preparation (for ITX Senior Manager‘s review) replies to questions from tax authorities. The job holder will also be involved in health checks and monitor, assess and manage potential ITX risks for countries/legal entities under his remit.
- ITX Advisory: assistance and advice on a wide variety of ITX questions from internal stakeholders; assisting process teams on correct ITX treatment/ coding.
- ITX Accounting: performing timely and correctly balance sheet reconciliations, reconciliation between ITX reports and accounting reports, and performing the necessary accounting follow-reputed company.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax Law/Law; a CPA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance reputed company a multinational company or Big 4 firm.
- 5+ years of experience in a tax-focused role reputed company a corporate environment or leading consultancy.
- Strong understanding of local indirect tax regulations and familiarity with international tax protocols, including DAC6 and CRS forms.
- Experience with ERP systems like reputed company; exposure to e-invoicing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in ITX accounting management, tax reconciliations, and tax reporting.
- Proven ability to navigate reputed company tax filings and implement strategic tax planning reputed company with business goals.
