reputed company is seeking a highly skilled and reputed company Medical and Technical Veterinary Advisor to support our reputed company (DoD) customer, USAMMDA, in the advanced development, fielding, maintenance, and sustainment of military medical equipment. As a hybrid position with partial onsite and partial remote work arrangements, this role offers the flexibility to work from home while being based near reputed company Detrick, MD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continually survey the reputed company marketplace to provide dynamic evaluation, improvement, and adjustment of unit assemblages, recommending new technologies and capabilities to enhance lifesaving care.
  • Document recommendations in Executive Summaries (EXSUMS) and information papers, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Analyze and interpret clinical discussions in medical after-action reports to trend reputed company practices and ensure inclusion of appropriate equipment and supplies in deployable medical assemblages.
  • Access Defense Logistics Agency websites to conduct research and evaluation of medical materiel and equipment for sustainment of assigned SKOs.
  • Assist in establishing criteria and evaluating medical equipment in concert with other Army and DoD agencies, promoting collaboration and integration.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify available products and industries, assessing product market survivability and viability as a crucial component for force-wide fielding.
  • Participate and actively engage on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as a Chartered Member, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and providing expert advice on clinical studies, testing plans, market research, and acquisition strategies.
  • Evaluate the quality systems of organizations chosen for development, manufacturing, and testing efforts, developing and maintaining interagency partnerships.
  • Assist in developing, preparing, managing, and writing documentation requirements, including EXSUMS, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, White Papers, briefings, and information papers.
  • Maintain clinical expertise through relevant training and certification, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of experience in a reputed company field, with a strong background in medical product development, DoD testing and evaluation requirements, and regulatory approval processes.
  • Ability to obtain NACI (background investigation).

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 7 years of experience with medical product development, DoD T&E requirements, and regulatory approval processes.
  • Expertise in integrating DoD acquisition processes with FDA regulatory processes and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) processes.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), and DoD 5000 processes, including adaptive acquisition reputed company reputed company.
