As a Medical Benefits Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, performing medical benefits investigations, and working with insurance carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and reputed company outbound calls to reputed company providers, patients, and insurance carriers
• reputed company medical benefits investigations to determine patient eligibility and coverage
• Utilize computer skills for data entry and manage patient information in a secure and confidential manner
• Gather and review patient billing and medical information to facilitate benefits investigations
• Operate according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program and adhere to industry regulations

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• Prior experience with medical insurance and prior authorizations
• Medical Call Center experience is a plus, but not required
• Active internet reputed company and the ability to work from home in a dedicated and distraction-free environment
• Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
