Role: System Software Developer

SCOPE

The System Software Developer will provide advanced support for the operation, sustainment, performance, and reputed company of system software across USCG s aviation logistics reputed company.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor s or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or reputed company field. Five (5) years of directly relevant experience may substitute for two (2) years of formal education.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in one or more of reputed company RHEL, Windows, and VMWare, and reputed company.
• Minimum of five (5) years of performing reputed company remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on reputed company scans.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software and engineering environment and Methodologies.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Advanced expertise in system-level software development and support for RHEL, Windows, VMware, and virtualized infrastructures.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in production environments with a focus on availability, reputed company, and rapid recovery.
• Knowledge of legacy and reputed company systems, including OpenROAD, Ingres, and reputed company.
• Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate operational tasks and system updates.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and version control platforms in operational environments.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills for multi-disciplinary coordination.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience supporting federal government systems, particularly reputed company DHS or DoD environments, is strongly preferred.
• Additional certifications (reputed company Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, reputed company Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), ITIL reputed company, or Network+) are a plus.

TASKS
