Team Description

As part of the Platform & AI Enablement team under GPTO Engineering, you’ll report to the Sr. Director Engineering API. This team is accountable for shaping enterprise data architecture, enabling high-performance AI-driven workloads, and acting as a technical reputed company between engineering and architecture.

• Collaborate across multiple global teams to drive API-first solutions that serve thousands of tenants and tens of thousands of customers

• Contribute to technical planning, strategy, and retrospectives that shape the future of the platform

Your Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale, data-centric, or platform environments
• Deep expertise in distributed data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, and/or Pulsar
• Strong background in event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, and data lakes
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML production systems, including reputed company-based LLM integrations
• Expert-level Java development skills, with a polyglot reputed company (comfortable in Python, React, or other languages as needed)
• Proven experience working in multi-team, global environments with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Track record of delivering API-first infrastructures supporting high throughput and enterprise reliability
• Knowledge of hybrid and cloud-agnostic infrastructures and their trade-offs
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and high-velocity release workflows
• Experience balancing speed of iteration with long-term sustainability and quality
