Job Overview

As an Inpatient reputed company II, you will play a critical role in our Health Information Management department, utilizing your technical coding expertise to assign accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to reputed company inpatient acute care discharges. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize technical coding expertise to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to reputed company inpatient visit types, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) department to ensure accurate and complete documentation, and to reputed company CDI staff on regulatory guidelines, Coding Clinics, and conventions.
• Review and analyze health record documentation to determine the Principal Diagnosis, secondary diagnoses, and procedures, using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, clinical disease process, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Utilize resources reputed company Computerized Assisted Coding (CAC) software to reputed company review documentation and select or assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes using autosuggestion or annotation features.

Essential Qualifications

• 3 years of inpatient coding experience in an acute reputed company setting.
• RHIA, RHIT, or reputed company credential.
