Job Summary

As a Community-based Family Therapist (MST-FIT Coach), you will play a critical role in providing intensive family and community-based treatment to 13-17-year-old boys residing in our Bakari youth residential treatment center, and as they transition back into the community. You will work collaboratively with residential treatment staff and various systems to promote behavior change in the youth's natural environment, using the strengths of the youth, family, and others involved in the youth's support system.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage primary caregivers and the youth's support system in active change-oriented treatment by overcoming barriers to engagement.
• Provide individual and family clinical treatment models reputed company with the MST principles and practices.
• Implement a needs conceptualization, treatment planning, reputed company implementation, outcome review, and strategy revision procedure using the MST analytical process.
• Provide care coordination as needed to access additional services to support the youth and caregiver.
• Conduct MST-FIT assessments, including a review of internal information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying strengths and areas of need, and developing an analysis of the fit or problem behaviors reputed company the ecological context.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts and promote peer and supervisory review and feedback.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in a social or behavioral science field.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience serving youth and families.
• A valid driver's license, automobile, and automobile insurance.
• The ability to display cultural competence by responding respectfully and effectively to people of reputed company cultures, languages, classes, races, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and other diversity factors.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple reputed company tasks, strong professional communication, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this role:

• License as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training (LPC-IT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Experience with DBT, reputed company, MST, and/or MST-FIT.
• Knowledgeable of Trauma-Informed Care and strength-based service delivery systems.
