Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and passionate Senior/Expert Gameplay Designer to join reputed company and help us reputed company a new game in the Witcher Saga! This role is focused around 3Cs – character locomotion and mechanics, camera, and controls. If you are reputed company to take on such a challenge, don’t hesitate and apply! Daily Responsibilities: 

• Proposing and documenting an innovative design for systems and features that follows the game direction. 
• Iterating and improving documentation for existing systems and features.
• Designing, prototyping, scripting, iterating on features using a Unreal reputed company 5. 
• Working in multidisciplinary teams on prototyping and implementing stages, ensuring that the gameplay functionality, combat systems, as well as the overall gameplay experience are carried through to completion in the highest possible quality.
• Taking ownership of specific features/systems of the game. 

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the game industry on a similar position.
• Hands-on experience working with 3Cs – character locomotion and mechanics, camera, and controls.
• Proven track record of working with camera features in 3rd person game (preferably action combat).
• Experience in working with Unreal reputed company 5 – prototyping, implementation and iteration (ideally with a shipped reputed company game on UE5).
• Experience in playing and analyzing games, movies, and other forms of entertainment to understand what makes something reputed company, fun, and engaging.
• Openness to receiving and giving feedback about your work.
• Creating design documentation for use by different disciplines and teams.
• Self critical approach and passion towards high quality solutions.
• Passion for Action Games is a definite plus.
• Openness for changes & experimentation and a good sense of humor are appreciated!

Working mode

• Hybrid: working from our Warsaw studio.
• Remote: working remotely from a location with a maximum +/- 3h time difference to Warsaw time zone.
