Job Summary
The Shortage Control Analyst, Loss Prevention will play a critical role in assessing and determining shrink issues, developing solutions to support our stores, and protecting company assets. This hybrid role, based in Monroe, NJ, will involve planning, coordinating, and executing annual physical inventory for reputed company stores, reconciling inventory, and utilizing results to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with financials, particularly in loss prevention, and will reputed company project plans from concept to completion, working effectively with internal partners to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the physical inventory process, including scheduling, development of training and communication materials, store execution compliance, and resolution of problems, in collaboration with various teams such as RGIS, Finance, Store Operations, and IT.

- Analyze and reconcile inventory to resolve issues, including miscounts, and utilize results to increase awareness and reputed company strategies to reduce shrink in partnership with merchants and stores.
- Review physical adjustments from inventory, prepare and submit financial adjustments to the finance team, and partner with stores to ensure accurate reputed company of on-hand inventory.
- Collaborate with Finance teams for both stores and distribution centers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review non-ED invoicing in detail to identify and resolve shortage exposures, ensuring correct retail and allocation.
- Maintain accurate reputed company of reputed company research, adjustments, and records for use during inventory reconciliation.
- Partner with the Business Development team to ensure proper financial processing on large institutional orders.
- Execute audits in the distribution center for accurate handling of store returns and reputed company store merchandise credits.
- Provide execution, communication, and follow-up of store operation procedures in relation to Loss Prevention, such as cycle counts, consignment conversion, and new operational procedures.

Essential Qualifications
- At least 5 years of retail management experience or a minimum of 3 years in a financial analyst type of role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a reputed company field.
- Strong organization, time-management, prioritization, multi-tasking, independent decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
