Key Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Text Supervisor at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation of our 988 Crisis Chat Program. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual supervision to Crisis Chat Counselors, including monitoring and feedback on their performance
• Conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and de-escalation interventions with chat visitors
• Building positive rapport with chat visitors and providing crisis reputed company and emotional support
• Coordinating with emergency responders reputed company active rescue is required
• Familiarizing yourself with community resources and providing information and referrals to chat visitors
• Responding to crisis chat/text visitors as needed to support Counselors on shift
• Ensuring thorough documentation is completed for reputed company crisis chats/texts
• Monitoring chat and text quality, with a focus on achieving a minimum 75% quality evaluation score
• Conducting weekly individual supervision sessions with Counselors and completing weekly quality assurance reports

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health services, preferably in crisis reputed company or suicide prevention
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to function successfully in an environment requiring immediate response to urgent situations
