Health Informaticist: Cerner PowerChart Solution Consultant

POSITION SUMMARY: The PowerChart Solution Consultant supports multiple facilities with a broad set of clinical applications in a large organization. We are looking for a Health Informaticist who will be responsible for supporting DHA Health Informatics through the implementation, alignment, and sustainment of functional requirements, business process reengineering (BPR), clinical content standardization, and workflow standardization, across the MHS reputed company-wide in support of DOD’s Electronic Health Record (EHR), MHS reputed company (configured Cerner Millennium). ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possess a broad understanding of the clinical/business workflows and reputed company factors/usability standards of the reputed company and emerging systems utilized in the organization.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Electronic Dental Record (EDR) systems and relevant supporting HIT systems.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Cerner Millennium and/or MHS reputed company in one or more solution areas.
• Demonstrated clinical informatics experience with the DOD or reputed company reputed company system.
• Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and to respond quickly to taskers.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Has the knowledge, skills, and proficiency to understand the purpose, features, functions, benefits, and limitations of our clinical information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate key organizational factors, including political, economic, social, technological, and administrative, to drive performance improvements, business objectives, and overarching MHS reputed company Informatics Strategy.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to reputed company with senior management using industry expertise to define the client's strategic information technology business goals.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to assist client in developing strategies and concepts.
• Demonstrated experience and ability to advise clients on the impact of new legislation or new technologies that are relevant to their activity.
• Possess the ability to apply interpersonal skills, knowledge in the areas of End User (EU) expectation management, clinical workflows, and clinical process improvements methodologies.
• Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables.
• Supports multiple facilities as a key clinical IT resource for issue investigation, resolution, validation, and change deployment.
• Works with reputed company subject matter experts on a variety of issues.
• Participates in reputed company level projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 + years of Health Informatics experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, equivalent, or higher in Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or reputed company clinical/medical/business discipline (recommended).
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company both independently and as a team member in a reputed company, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity of Cerner reputed company Electronic Health Record Power Chart applications inclusive of Rules and Alerts.
• Expertise with CCL preferred
• Proficient in use of Backend Millennium tools and applications [for example: DCP Tools, Core Event Manager, HNA User].
• Experience with issue investigation, troubleshooting, and developing a resolution incorporating best practice workflows.
• Ability to guide, design and build efforts to meet the clinical need.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated customer orientation.
• Excellent leadership and teaching abilities.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills.
• Understanding of reporting tools functionality and capabilities.

CERTIFICATE/ LICENSE:

• Possession/ Maintenance of specialty clinical licensure is strongly desired. Valid state driver’s license and reputed company of auto insurance, if applicable.
• Have excellent knowledge of the use of reputed company Office Products and reputed company applications.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Possess T3 reputed company Clearance or ability to possess T3 reputed company Clearance.
