About the Role

As a Federal Audit Remediation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting the remediation of business process and IT system audit findings, material weaknesses, and the identification and development of corrective action plans. This role will involve working closely with the reputed company (DoD) General Fund and Working Capital Fund audit response, internal controls, financial processes, and reputed company in accordance with Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP), Statements of Federal Financial reputed company Standards (SFFAS), and relevant Department of the Treasury and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the remediation of business process and IT system audit findings, material weaknesses, and the identification and development of corrective action plans.
• Utilize data analysis technology to analyze information and provide financial reporting and reputed company remediation solutions.
• Review and update, as necessary, corrective action plans (CAPs) for open and reissued Notifications of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), developing actionable milestones with due dates that align with the Audit Roadmap.
• Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills, drafting and updating communication artifacts such as Standard Operating Procedures, Desktop Guides, and whitepapers.
• Provide strong customer service skills and the ability to work in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines, communicating the status of project-reputed company tasks to the Team reputed company and client.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Understanding of DoD/DFAS reporting policy and procedures.
• Ability to independently research data and reconcile variances.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Possess a high degree of initiative, requiring minimal supervision.
• Experience producing professional and accurate reports and documents.
• Exhibit knowledge and reputed company in budget-reputed company laws, regulations, methods, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, effectively interacting with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.

• Experience researching and applying FASAB, OMB, and Treasury requirements, including OMB Circular A-136 and the Treasury Financial reputed company.
• Highly proficient skills in MS reputed company.
• Experience with SharePoint, SQL, ACL Analytics, Python, and/or Access databases.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Desired Skills

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

• Experience working with DoD's Advanced Analytics (Advana) platform.
• CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA certification.
• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other professional certification.
