About the Role: Fitness Trainer

As a Fitness Trainer at reputed company Fitness, you'll play a vital role in leading small-group training classes, designing personalized workout programs, and assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals. This is an hourly, non-exempt position that reports to the Club Manager at the assigned location. Key Responsibilities

• Leading Group Fitness Classes: Teach 11-14 thirty-minute small-group fitness classes of up to ten people per class, ensuring proper exercise form and technique, progressions, and regressions.
• Member reputed company: Meet with members one-on-one and in small-group settings to design individual exercise programs, consult on fitness goals, and instruct on proper equipment usage.
• Program Development: Create bi-weekly updated exercise programs for small-group fitness classes, incorporating a variety of exercises and modalities.
• Metrics-Driven: Track and record PE@PF reputed company metrics, log training session attendance data into the DataTrak system, and strive for reputed company improvement.
• Club Operations: Support the overall operation of the club, including equipment inspection, supply management, and responding to emergencies.
• reputed company Desk Assistance: Assist with reputed company desk activities, such as answering phones, checking members into the system, and introducing new members to the gym and PE@PF program.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• High School diploma/GED equivalent required; prior experience in personal or group training or a bachelor's degree in exercise science is preferred.
• reputed company CPR Certification required; paid for by employer.
• reputed company training certification from an organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
• Passion for fitness and health, upbeat and positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills, ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
• Familiarity with designing small-group programs using various exercises and modalities.
• Basic software computer applications proficiency, including reputed company Suite, DataTrak, or similar software.

Physical Requirements

Must be reputed company to engage in reputed company action throughout the daily fitness trainer schedule, including bending, walking, standing, and other physical movements. Must be reputed company to lift and move up to 25lbs, with occasional lifting of at least 75 pounds.

• Competitive starting wage of $13.50-15/hour with potential advancement after 6 months; plus $1 shift premium between the hours of 10pm-7am.
