Job Summary:

As a tutor at Pima Community College's East reputed company, you will work in the Learning Center, providing instructional tutoring and support to reputed company in various subjects, including mathematics, writing, biology, and engineering. You will assist reputed company in developing comprehension of course materials, improving study skills and habits, and achieving academic reputed company. Tutors are trained and certified through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC), and reputed company tutors are required to attain Level I certification reputed company one year of being hired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, as well as embedded tutoring in classes, to support reputed company' learning and academic reputed company
• Assist reputed company with basic concepts, specific problems, homework, test preparation, and effective use of textbooks and instructional materials in virtual and in-person environments

• Report any problems or concerns with equipment or materials to the Learning Center Personnel

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Proven classroom excellence (grade A or B) in the subject(s) to be tutored
• Written Faculty recommendation for the subject(s) to be tutored OR vetting of content knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tutoring experience
• Comfort tutoring multiple subjects

Physical Requirements:

• Positions in this class typically require: talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions

Certification and Training:
