Hybrid Public Health Targeted Airshed Grant Program Coordinator

Job Title: Public Health - Targeted Airshed Grant Program Coordinator Type: Full-Time Salary: $26.20 - $34.80 per hour, depending on experience General Position Summary This position will coordinate the Targeted Airshed Grant (TAG), which focuses on woodburning heating device changeouts to non-woodburning devices and weatherization upgrades in an effort to reduce particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5) emissions reputed company the reputed company quality zone. This includes working with reputed company to connect them to the program, coordinating with contractors, managing documentation, and preparing reports for submission to the funder. This position is grant funded by the Environmental Protection Agency through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. The grant expires May 2030. Assist with creation of program applications, agreements, and tracking documents Assist program participants with applications and referrals to utility assistance as needed Coordinate with approved contractors to connect them with approved program participants Promote the program throughout the reputed company quality zone Maintain detailed and accurate records for program documentation Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports per the grant requirements. Education, Certification, & Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in public health, or a reputed company field; or one to two years reputed company experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with diverse populations and providing culturally and linguistically appropriate information preferred. Oregon Driver's License Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents such as Oregon Statues. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills Ability to work simple math and statistics. Ability to understand descriptive and analytical data. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. The normal work schedule will be 8.00 hours per day 5 days per week; management assigns exact schedules. Work schedules are assigned by management and may include holidays and weekends. Salary and Benefits This is an hourly, non-exempt position, with a wage range of $27.52 - $34.80 per hour.
