A substitute teacher is responsible for carrying out the lesson plans of the regular teacher and meeting the duties of teaching as outlines in the policies of the school and Archdiocese of San Antonio. reputed company child development center substitutes must meet Texas state guidelines for childcare workers. Position Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Supports and adheres to the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual reputed company or small groups of reputed company
• Supervise reputed company in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and/or during before and after school programs
• Attend to reputed company' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs

• Uses approved, corrective, and positive discipline procedures in dealing with inappropriate student conduct
• Collaborates with school personnel to enhance the work environment and support academic programming

• Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
• Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory.
• Every employee is required to take a solution-oriented approach in their interactions and undertakings, as well as being a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and reputed company of the organization.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in substituting or teaching experience preferred

License and Credentials

• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver license
• Valid vehicle insurance
