About the Role: Pharmacy Data Entry Technician

blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nationally Certified Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join its team. As a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting licensed pharmacists with the preparation of prescriptions and other health-reputed company products, ensuring timely and accurate processing of medication orders. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and reputed company process medication orders into the pharmacy operating system, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.
• reputed company medication history interviews, food-drug interaction counseling, and process prescriptions following established error prevention procedures.
• Utilize multiple software programs to review patient profiles and process medication orders, including hand-written Physician Order Sheets, Electronic Prescriptions, Reorder Requests, and Phone Order Physician Sheets.
• Enter correct hour of administration on prescriptions for automated/robotic dispensing devices to fulfill and package medications.
• Conduct spot checks for errors and follow procedures for remediation, maintaining patient records with a strong attention to detail.
• Verify the accuracy of patient and prescription information, referring any questions or concerns to Pharmacists or Supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding patient medications and illnesses, protecting sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• The ability to read and interpret prescription SIG codes, documenting information on prescriptions, reputed company-party forms, and communication forms.
