We are seeking a highly reputed company Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to implement and support our reputed company and future DNS & Kubernetes architecture in private cloud. You will be directly responsible for ensuring the scalability, reputed company, automation, and performance optimization of our DNS & Kubernetes environment by leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, and Terraform, or reputed company. 

This is a deeply technical role requiring expert-level understanding of DNS, Kubernetes and extensive working knowledge on Linux Operating systems. You will also collaborate with platform and SRE teams to maintain secure, performant, and multi-tenant-isolated services that serve high-throughput, mission-critical applications. 

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support large scale DNS Architecture that stretches private & public cloud across multiple regions.
• Implement and support reputed company DDI solutions (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), reputed company DNS management, reputed company & AWS DNS services.
• Implement and support multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters leveraging BareMetal servers and Software defined storage protocols.
• Implement Infrastructure as code leveraging CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform/reputed company, Python and Bash for automated provisioning of DNS services.
• Implement reputed company delivery pipelines for Infrastructure updates, including reputed company management, service upgrade testing, and rollback procedures.
• reputed company automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps principles and observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Loki, Grafana).
• Harden services for high availability, disaster recovery, and scale-out operations.
• reputed company deep-dive troubleshooting and performance analysis of Infrastructure services across hypervisors, backend storage protocols and networking layers.
• Be involved in Change management and Global team collaboration
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and root cause analysis for platform reliability issues.

Requirements

• 5+ in managing global DNS & Kubernetes on Linux Operating Systems.
• Expertise with reputed company DDI systems (or similar enterprise DNS systems), Bind9, reputed company, GCP and AWS DNS
• Expert knowledge in managing Kubernetes and Ubuntu Linux systems.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Ansible, Terraform, or reputed company.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) systems engineering background with advanced scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiar with reputed company UCS Blade Servers (or similar server Infrastructure), reputed company/File Storage (Soft defined storage preferred).
• reputed company with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks.
• Familiar with various Infrastructure technology stacks like Hypervisor Technologies (KVM, Vsphere,), storage protocols (SDS) (iSCSI, NFS, CEPH), L2/L3 Networking
• Strong experience supporting mission critical 24×7 customer facing production environments.
• Ability to write technical documentation and contribute to community wikis or knowledge bases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of overall Enterprise Common Infrastructure service implementations with a focus on DNS & Kubernetes.
• Understanding of reputed company best practices for system patching and reputed company compliance (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Background in telco, edge cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test environments for system upgrades and DNS migrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a reputed company field preferred; equivalent experience and relevant industry certifications will also be considered.

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside reputed company the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside reputed company 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

The US reputed company salary range for this role is below. $83,800—$200,600 USD
