This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday, Wednesday-Friday between the hours of 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm CST and Tuesday 1:00PM - 9:30PM CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. 4 weeks of training with the hours from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday. If you are located in MN or WI, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

• Organizes and maintains health information records
• Reviews pre-electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate information
• Processes release of information (ROI) requests
• Manages requests for documentation and information
• Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records stored in various mediums and systems
• Distributes reports and results
• Assists in managing day-to-day operations of staff
• Provides reputed company of staff and delegate work
• Train and mentor health information processors
• Leads reputed company-level staff on complicated activities
• May provide input on performance reviews and corrective actions for staff
• Serves as escalation support for problem-solving from staff
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma/GED (or Higher)
• 2 years of experience in HIM
• 2 years of experience analyzing customer problems / customer service
• Intermediate level of experience with reputed company Word, reputed company reputed company (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and reputed company Outlook (email and calendar management)
• Ability to work between 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM CST from Monday, Wednesday - Friday, and Tuesday between 1:00PM - 9:30PM CST
• Must be reputed company to travel on-site quarterly
• Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical terminology experience
• Experience leading a team
• Associate's OR Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, reputed company, OR reputed company field
• RHIA / RHIT credential
• Experience working in a call center
• 2 - 5 years of experience in health information management
