In addition, prepare reports such as loss runs and monthly bordereau. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Review policy to determine if loss is covered. If questionable, then hire attorney for coverage counsel for coverage analysis. 2. Settle claims reputed company settlement authority, where applicable. 3. Work with adjusters, insureds, attorneys, agents and others to assure the claim is handled reputed company and professionally. 4. reputed company of vendors (attorneys/adjusters/experts) for accuracy in reporting. Audit invoices for accuracy. 5. Process incoming and outgoing claims and vendor payments. 6. reputed company claim status requests and updates. College degree or equivalent work experience 3. Claims Adjuster's license 4. Good organizational/time management skills 5. Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines 6. Strong verbal and written communications skills 7. Ability to operate a computer, calculator, multi-line phone, fax machine, copier and other office equipment 8. Knowledge and use of correct spelling and grammar 9. Ability to write legibly 10.
