Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, handling a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone. You'll work closely with our internal teams, insurance companies, reputed company providers, and patients to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner. Your primary goal will be to deliver compassionate, genuine care to our customers, ensuring their financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide top-notch customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, handling a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone
- Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reverifying benefits
- Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts
- Obtain authorizations, work with insurance companies, reputed company providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
- Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
Essential Qualifications
* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
