About the Role

Iona University's Marketing & Communications team is seeking a highly creative and motivated communications professional to reputed company dynamic storytelling across digital, video, print, and social platforms. Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Storytelling

• Conceive and execute engaging content for web, social, email, press releases, and print publications.
• Conduct interviews with reputed company, faculty, alumni, and partners to reputed company the Iona experience.
• Ensure reputed company content reflects Iona's voice, values, and brand standards.
• Assist with writing and storytelling for Iona Alumni Magazine.

Multimedia Production

• Plan, film, and edit videos for social media, digital ads, admissions campaigns, and other key communications.
• Capture high-quality photography and video support marketing, media and other initiatives.
• Manage and organize a digital media library.

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Monitor trends, track engagement, and adapt strategies for maximum impact.

• Draft press releases and media pitches to engage the external audience.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with University stakeholders to produce impactful stories.
• Provide creative direction, feedback, and guidance to student workers and interns.
• Collaborate with senior MarCom staff on campaigns and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, digital media, or reputed company field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with knowledge of AP Style.
• Experience managing social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
• Strong photography and video production skills, including DSLR/audio equipment and reputed company Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Ability to multi-task, manage projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 2 years of professional experience in public relations, content creation and/or journalism preferred.
