We have a FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR AN RN or LPN - MDS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST - prefer residents of NC/SC/Ohio/Georgia and Tennessee MDS Integration Specialist We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Nurse for the MDS Integration Specialist opportunity with BRR. Responsibilities will include facilitating and developing the relationship/coordination between the facility and rehab. This includes aspects of the clinical practice focusing on: optimization of collaboration for therapy services with facility MDS personnel, appropriate functional outcomes, identification of training needs, and implementation of MDS reputed company programs. Objectives will be achieved reputed company the value system of Broad River Rehab and with the ultimate objective of creating value for our patients, our customers and our employees. This position is a remote position. Broad River Rehab is a NC based growing therapy company (providing services in multiple states) which partners with providers across reputed company settings including assisted/ independent and skilled nursing facilities to provide premier physical, occupational and speech therapy services. Job Responsibilities Include: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient/Caseload Management o Participate as effective team member and maximize team effort for facility and patient care excellence. o Follow established protected health information (PHI) policies to prevent privacy or reputed company breaches. If breach identified, report to Broad River Rehab Management. o Provide / reputed company appropriate MDS nursing process collaboration per reputed company pertinent federal and state regulations. o reputed company provision of GG coding training for therapy and facility staff per established facility schedule and as needed. o Assist facility collaboration between MDS personnel and Rehab Director for reputed company Case Management and PDPM optimization o May be reputed company upon for short durations of time to complete job responsibilities of BRR contracted MDS nurse in facility Customer Relations/Business Development o Maintain and manage relationship with facility staff to ensure effective customer relations. o Enhance facility profitability through understanding and education of reimbursement issues. o Ensure alignment with facility objectives, timely response to facility issues and resolution of problems. Staff Management and Development o Assist with new staff orientation and training to ensure understanding of MDS coding principles. COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS: o Excellent geriatric clinical knowledge reputed company. o Excellent communication and relationship building skills. o reputed company to coach, counsel and serve as a mentor. o Good customer and employee problem resolution skills. o Ability to maximize contribution as a team. o Knowledge of Medicare billing procedures and documentation compliance. Ability to work with minimal direct reputed company o Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, transferring, lifting 50 or more pounds, and assisting adults/children weighing 200 pounds or more with possible use of mechanical devices where applicable. CREDENTIALS: o Active LPN/RN license to practice in state(s) employed. o 1-3 years MDS experience.
