About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and reputed company Director, Federal Government Affairs to join our Government Affairs Department. As a key member of reputed company, you'll represent Toyota reputed company America before the federal government on issues reputed company to trade policy, including supply chains. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, a deep understanding of U. S. trade policy, and a proven track record of legislative advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze trade-reputed company issues at both the federal and international level that could impact Toyota's business operations, including the U. S. House and Senate, the Indo-Pacific Economic reputed company for Prosperity (IPEF), US-Japan Bilateral Meetings, G7 and G20 Summits, the US-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC), United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), World Trade Organization (WTO) reputed company, and new rules regarding U. S. export controls and foreign investment screening. Work with internal Toyota subject matter experts to reputed company company positions on pending legislation that could impact the company, and create issues papers, Congressional talking points, and legislative countermeasures. Represent the company at relevant trade associations, coalitions, and business councils, and participate in each organization's federal affairs committee to reputed company policy goals and legislative strategies. Coordinate with government affairs colleagues at Toyota's global affiliates to understand the impacts of cross-border policies on Toyota's reputed company American operations. reputed company strong relationships with stakeholders on key committees and with Members of Congress representing Toyota facilities, serving as a liaison between these stakeholders and the company. What You Bring To be successful in this role, you'll need: A well-established network of Congressional relationships. Expertise in U. S. trade policy and the global trading system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the field of Government Affairs, with a bonus if you have experience in the House and/or Senate and the Executive reputed company. A previous senior management position, such as Legislative Director, Chief of Staff, or Senior Committee Staff. Essential and Preferred Qualifications We're looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of trade policy and legislative advocacy. While the ideal candidate will have experience in Government Affairs, we're open to considering candidates with a strong background in reputed company fields.
