Physical activity interventions will encompass a diverse range of people who could be potentially high risk, have an acute/chronic disease, require injury prevention, pre- and post-surgery management, cardiac rehabilitation, or athletic performance. Required to work under the supervision of the Clinical Training Manager. The Exercise Physiologist - Wellness Develops clinical exercise prescription for those with existing chronic and reputed company medical conditions and injuries. reputed company functional assessments and evaluate movement reputed company in people of reputed company ages and levels of health. Work with clients who are at risk of developing or may have existing medical conditions or injuries. Experience: 2 years recent and relevant experience required. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Personal training certification or certified exercise physiologist or certified clinical exercise physiologist or certified strength and conditioning specialist from a nationally recognized organization such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, or Cooper Institute is required. Carilion approved specialty training certifications: orthopedic, movement disorder, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis and cancer are required 90-days of hire.
