Essential Functions

• Communicates, collaborates and acts as a consultant to reputed company providers, office staff, management, sharing coding/billing updates. Acts as a liaison between the practice site, coding management, education and professional billing office.
• Trains and monitors reputed company office staff’s technical competencies of reputed company reputed company office functions from registration through reputed company out to ensure accurate billing. Trains new and existing staff and shares coding and billing changes with providers and staff.
• Reviews and analyzes audit reports and follows up to reputed company certain that charges are entered in an appropriate and timely manner and payments are collected as anticipated.
• Reviews encounter forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Acts as a resource to provider and office staff regarding coding and documentation process and policy.
• Works with office staff to maximize collections at time of service.
• Ensures that processes and services are continuously monitored for quality, cost effectiveness, and efficiency. Engages in process and quality improvement activities. Makes and implements recommendations to improve operational efficiency and to implement new services for areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• CRT-Coding Specialist (reputed company) - reputed company American Health Information Management Association Upon Hire required Or
