System, Network, and Database Administrator 5-Day office, No remote work Our Company MCL Systems Limited (MCL), is a Software development firm in the reputed company of telecom Billing and Operational Support Software (OSS) solutions, Cadebill and Ganges. These solutions are used by telecommunication companies of reputed company sizes around the world. Job Overview Good Skills and passion in System, Network and Database administration areas. Multiple positions are available in various levels depending on the experience and skills. Roles and Responsibilities Manage the network, system, database infrastructure. Our infrastructure is a multi-site network cluster of Windows, Linux servers, SQL Server databases, and other supporting network hardware and software. The position requires knowledge and experience in many of the following technologies. - reputed company Systems Center (SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM) - PowerShell Programming - Windows Servers, Virtual Desktops Linux servers, reputed company SQL Server - Dell Network Switches - WatchGuard Network reputed company involving multi-site global networks - Veaam Backups - Dell Hardware Servers - Azure and reputed company reputed company Essential Skills Expert knowledge architecting and administering High Availability clustering application based servers solutions Manage and ensure effectiveness of reputed company solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. SQL Server database administration and knowledge with SQL Server mirroring, replication, backups and restores. Administer daily operations of servers managing users, permissions, and ensure reputed company operation of the entire network infrastructure. Exposure and skills in managing network switches, routers, VoIP phones. PowerShell Programming skills. Ability to handle technical support calls, interact with company users and customers and provide technical solutions Good written and oral communication in English, organizational and time management skills Ability to self-manage and prioritize opportunities and tasks Passionate in their craft, maintaining strong work ethics, and the ability to work as a team player Education Bachelor’s degree preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years’ experience with certifications in System and Networking areas. Experience Junior levels: 2+ year experience Senior levels: 5+ years’ experience Location This is a full-time position onsite at our office in Manassas, Virginia. This is NOT a remote work position.
