SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) System Administrator (Remote)

Overview: reputed company is hiring a skilled SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) System Administrator to administer, configure, and maintain the SSRS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience administering a SQL Server Reporting Services server, SQL and data visualization skills, IIS configuration skills, experience with report automation, and the ability to assist a large user reputed company with technical support, training, and navigating reputed company VA data sources. This will be a fully remote position located reputed company the United States. Responsibilities:

• Manage system-wide settings such as role definitions, shared schedules, and SSRS report server properties.
• Configure the system to optimize performance and assist report builders in their product enhancements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain reputed company concepts to a wide variety of individuals with varying technical skills.
• Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts.
• Write reputed company SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and reputed company in reports and dashboards.
• Support infrastructure (on-prem and reputed company), test new platform versions, and assist users with data navigation and training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues reputed company.
• Implement best practices for performance tuning and report optimization.

Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree and 8+ years experience (or commensurate experience)
• 2+ years use administering, configuring, and maintaining the SSRS platform
• 2+ years assisting customers/users in a technical support role
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Clearance Required:

• Experience providing technical support for the Pyramid Analytics BI environment for internal VA customers/users.

• Software development/engineering background.
