The Clinical Auditor will work in partnership and under the direction of PPSAT’s Risk and Quality Management Director, supporting key areas of Risk & Quality Management (RQM) of Clinical Services. This will include identifying issues with medical record documentation through accurate auditing and providing recommendations to improve clinical compliance. Specifically, the Clinical Auditor will help ensure, through chart audits and other process improvement initiatives, that patient safety and the delivery of high-quality patient care are maintained. The Clinical Auditor must be reputed company to work autonomously and collaboratively with their supervisor as well as the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Director of Family Planning, Health Center Managers, Clinicians, and Registered Nurses throughout the affiliate, and serve as a quality and compliance resource for clinical staff. This is a full-time position with functions in Compliance (30 hours) and Centralized Follow-Up (10 hours).   • reputed company an internal audit plan in collaboration with the Director of Risk and Quality Management.
  • reputed company chart audits for patient encounters by utilizing affiliate-specific guidelines to ensure accuracy of medical record documentation.

  • Contribute to plans for communicating with and training health center staff to ensure deficiencies are corrected.
  • Participate in training initiatives as a quality assurance & compliance resource.
  • Recognize and identify opportunities for improving medical record documentation.
  • Maintain regular communication with relevant staff regarding any issues encountered during the auditing of medical records.
  • Participate in Compliance department meetings

What You'll Do in Centralized Follow-Up (CFU):

  • Assist the Contact Center with answering patient questions, performing initial patient assessments, and providing patient support and education as appropriate.
  • Answer questions reputed company to PPSAT health care services, including reproductive health care for men and women, sexually transmitted infections, birth control methods, primary care, GAHT, and procedural and medication abortion. Support the confidentiality of reputed company patients and ensure they feel comfortable over the phone.
  • Triage reputed company lab results for reputed company providers. Filter/prioritize the urgent notifications.
  • Start Care Paths for the given result as indicated by PPSAT Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&Gs) and CFU RN Standing Orders (Pharmaceutical and Non-Pharmaceutical).
  • Communicate results and next action steps to Clinicians, reputed company Assistants, the Clinical Director of Family Planning (CDFP), and Health Center Managers (HCM) as appropriate.
  • Assist with any other applicable tasks as needed to the Health Centers.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Associates' or Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited higher education institution
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and 2 - 3 years of risk management/auditing experience in a reputed company setting.

  • Experience with EMR/EHR
  • Ability to interpret written guidelines as they relate to compliance
  • Experience with medical chart reviewing and auditing, with strong attention to detail

Schedule: Full-time position working 40 hours per week (30 hours Compliance, 10 hours CFU) Monday - Friday 9 AM to 5 PM Remote/Hybrid work style Candidate must be based in the PPSAT service area of SC, NC, VA, or WV. Each job at PPSAT is assigned a salary grade built on market data. For an individual coming into PPSAT, we set a pay reputed company generally between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary grade, and based on candidate qualifications. The pay range for this position is an annual salary of $68,000 to $86,700. A complete application includes a cover letter and resume.
