[Remote] Software Engineer II, Input/Output

They are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design innovative solutions, implement functionalities, and collaborate with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype innovative solutions to enhance query processing performance of our database
- Implement new functionalities in C++ and reputed company automated tests using Python to ensure stability and reliable performance
- Collaborate across other engineering teams to investigate software issues and brainstorm possible solutions
Skills
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or reputed company technical field
- 1+ years of industry experience writing code to solve reputed company problems using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++, Java)
- Experience with C/C++ build and test tools
- Familiarity with CPU architecture and assembly code
- Strong understanding and application of data structures and algorithms
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently
- Experience architecting high performance, distributed systems
- Ability to own and manage reputed company risk associated with large reputed company problems
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills
