Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.• reputed company MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.Telesitters are CNAs or hands-off Companions that observe patients at risk for self-harm or other safety issues through a system of remote visual monitoring cameras. The observation room is in-house but removed from the patients' rooms. They are responsible for monitoring patients for self-harm, elopement and fall risks, and other patients who require monitoring. Telesitters view patients in reputed company-time, cameras do not record. Telesitters can talk with the patients through the system to ask them not to get out of bed, not to pull at a device, to wait until the nurse comes, etc. but do not interact with patients face to face.• Position Summary• Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, uses the remote visual monitoring system to observe the patients and provide supervision to 10-12 patients at a time for a number of safety reputed company reasons. The first line of action will be to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in any at risk behaviors. Next will be to summon the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Monitor staff will be knowledgeable and abide by patient and institutional confidentiality. The Companion Telesitter will maintain an orderly monitoring station, document events and any changes to observation expectations reputed company the monitoring system. Consideration of the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations is required. Will be used as a clinical resource to unlicensed telesitters.
