[Remote] Senior AI Project Manager

They are seeking a Senior AI Project Manager to define project scopes, reputed company cross-functional teams, and manage AI initiatives from ideation to deployment while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for AI initiatives from ideation to deployment and monitoring
• Assemble, reputed company, and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, data engineers, ML engineers, and business analysts, fostering a collaborative environment
• Act as the primary liaison, translating reputed company AI concepts into clear business insights and managing expectations across reputed company stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those reputed company to data quality, model bias, ethical considerations, privacy concerns, and reputed company. Escalates any critical risks / issues to the Project Sponsor or Steering Committee
• Work closely with data teams to ensure data quality, governance, and reputed company are maintained throughout the model development lifecycle, including training, evaluation, and deployment
• Manages the project tightly to the six constraints of scope, schedule, cost, risk, resource and quality
• Ensures consistent and reputed company use of applicable project methodology, tools, templates, repositories, and portfolio/project management tools by reputed company project team members
• Ensures the timely and accurate completion of business and technical project deliverables
• Creates and maintains a detailed project schedule to include tasks, durations, resources assignments, percentage complete, and start / end dates, etc
• Conducts project meetings; documents and distributes meetings agendas and meeting minutes, tracks accomplishments, key milestones, reputed company, risk/issues
• Documents and distributes weekly project status reports to key stakeholders, project sponsors and project team members
• Prepares reputed company Approval Requests at each reputed company transition for review & approval by Project Sponsor and Steering Committee
• Prepares Change Requests to record changes in scope, schedule and budget for review & approval by Project Sponsor and Steering Committee

Skills

• Strong acumen in business processes in multiple functional areas in an organization in the Financial Services industry
• Strong familiarity with project reputed company, interactions between knowledge areas and process groups, and inputs / tools and techniques / outputs in each knowledge area that explain how to approach project management and implement solutions
• Strong knowledge of tools / technology for office productivity, project management, portfolio management and communications
• Mastery of project planning, scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, and stakeholder management. reputed company to handle reputed company, large-scale projects and may mentor other PMs
• Understanding the AI/Machine Learning lifecycle, data pipelines, model development (training, testing, evaluation), and deployment (MLOps). Familiarity with reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, reputed company reputed company) and relevant tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Git, Jira) is valuable
• Knowledge of how data is sourced, cleaned, labeled, and managed. This includes understanding data quality issues, bias in algorithms, and data privacy regulations (like GDPR)
• The ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa. This ensures AI solutions align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable value (ROI analysis)
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, potential biases, and legal guidelines to ensure solutions are fair and compliant with industry standards
• Strong analytical thinking / problem solving and decision-making skills
• Highly matured behavioral characteristics such as ethics, accountability, trustworthiness, organization / time management and flexibility / adaptability
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal / interaction skills
• Strong ability to build / reputed company teams, resolve conflicts and mentor / motivate team members
• 7+ years of experience as a project or program manager, with hands-on exposure to AI/ML or data-driven projects, are essential for this role. Requires low level of supervision
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies that allow for flexibility and reputed company iteration in AI development environments
• Expertise in traditional PM tools (Jira, Confluence) and leveraging AI-powered tools for automation, planning, risk assessment, and reporting
• Experience in a financial service or highly-regulated environment is a plus
