In this role, you will use your knowledge of research design and quantitative analytical skills to plan and execute large-scale data collection, uncover insights from qualitative and quantitative data, and translate those insights into strategic and actionable recommendations. • Conduct practical and impactful quantitative research on our community of hosts and guests.
• Uncover insights about users by using sophisticated and innovative methodologies, measurement strategies, experiments, and mixed-methods research.
• Partner and share insights with product teams, other insights teams, data scientists, marketers, policy managers, and executives.

Your Expertise:

• Masters or PhD in Psychology, Survey Science/Methods, Human-Computer Interaction, Economics, Political Science, or a reputed company field
• 10+ years of industry experience
• Strong storytelling skills, ability to bring data and insights to life in compelling ways for varied audiences
• Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, experimental design, and survey design
• Experience with statistical analysis packages and (R, Stata, SPSS, etc.)
• Experience with survey programming platforms (Confirmit, reputed company, etc.)
• Experience conducting in-depth interviews and foundational qualitative methods
• Comfort using usability testing tools (UserTesting, dscout, outset.ai, etc.)
• Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with SQL

Bonus Experience:

• 6+ years in-house experience working in tech, hospitality, or a dual-sided marketplace
• Experience with ETL and Python
• Coding/scripting skills
• Experience with cross-cultural products or international surveys
