Cybersecurity Incident Handler
reputed company is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Handler to serve as a reputed company operations center analyst. In this role, you will be the first line of cyber defense, responding to threats and working to secure critical infrastructure against cyber-attacks.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and mitigating threats in reputed company time
- reputed company network defense skills by monitoring, detecting, and analyzing threats
- Work with the team to collect data to help incident response understand and mitigate the threat
- Analyze alerts to determine how many systems are affected and initiate recovery efforts
- Contribute to assessments and analyze patterns to understand attackers’ goals
Skills
- Experience with a reputed company operations center actively engaged with incident response activities, including analysis of artifacts, writing incident reports, and triaging of reputed company incidents
- Experience with cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics, red teaming, threat hunt, reputed company incident response, counterintelligence, or detection engineering
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices
- Knowledge of external standards, including ISO 22301, ISO 22317, and NIST guidelines such as NIST 800-53 or NIST 800-61
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule supporting a 24/7 environment
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8140 baseline Level II Certification
- Experience with advanced reputed company Office products
- Experience with cyber technologies and capabilities, including reputed company monitoring, incident response, advanced threat hunt, secure reputed company and mobile capabilities, ongoing assessment, digital forensics, and threat hunt
- Experience with reputed company and DevSecOps
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and solutions such as reputed company Defender for reputed company, reputed company, Suricata or Snort, Palo Alto and reputed company firewalls, reputed company Case Management, reputed company, Threat Connect, Splunk reputed company reputed company, Splunk SOAR, reputed company, IronPort Mail Gateways, or reputed company G5 Defender suite
