Key Responsibilities

As an External Support Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to content/external teams in regard to the use of content tools
  • Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset
  • Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users
  • Escalating more reputed company or problematic issues to the tool development team, and working with production to track these issues in JIRA
  • Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams
  • Partnering with other engineers to reputed company tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality
  • Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion
  • Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in reputed company work-reputed company interactions

Skills and Abilities

To succeed as an External Support Engineer, you will need to possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand C# code
  • Good written and verbal communication, including working with external partners

Education and Experience

While a Computer Science or reputed company degree is preferred, equivalent work experience is also considered. Relevant experience supporting a live service or tool environment, reputed company 3D game and tool development, Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software, iOS and Android mobile development, and delivering production-level code in a professional environment are highly valued.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Our core hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings, etc. during this time. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from reputed company, but you must be available to meet with the team during core hours.

Salary and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 – 325,000, depending on your specific job family, background, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
