Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional telephone support to patients, processing new patient medication orders and reorders, and resolving reputed company customer needs in a timely and compassionate manner. You'll work closely with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure the processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy - Process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits - Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system - Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients - Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and reputed company providers - Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues - Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations
Essential Qualifications
- One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone - One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications - One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude - reputed company high school diploma or equivalent
