Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload, including criminal prosecutions (misdemeanor and felony)
- Traffic violations and DUI matters
- Juvenile delinquency and abuse/neglect cases
- Animal control enforcement
- Conservation and wildlife law matters
- Researching and preparing legal matters for the County Board
- Providing legal counsel to county departments and elected officials
Skills
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and work independently and as part of a team
