[Remote] Traveling Field Interviewer-Full Time

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking full-time reputed company travel field interviewers for the National Health and Nutrition Examination Study (NHANES). The role involves conducting in-person household interviews and health examinations, collecting high-quality data, and managing administrative duties while traveling extensively throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Being available for reputed company travel 48 weeks per year to recruit study participants and staying at project selected accommodations
  • Willing to commit to work for at least one year
  • Making in-person contact with selected respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation
  • Collecting confidential information and administering standardized questionnaires
  • Conducting in-home interviews, exam reminder calls, and exam reminder visits
  • reputed company for in-person health exams and dietary phone interviews
  • Independently managing administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings
  • Approaching households without a prior appointment
  • Participating in weekly calls with Field Supervisor
  • Transmitting data as scheduled
  • Assuming full and legal responsibility for use and care of project issued equipment
  • Safeguarding any participant incentives, issued equipment, or project materials against damage, loss, or theft
  • Assuming responsibility for and carefully tracking reputed company participant incentives
  • Submitting timely and accurate Time and Expense reports
  • Attending virtually scheduled meetings with other members of the project team
  • This position involves standing, walking and climbing stairs, and transporting equipment and materials such as laptop computers and notebooks weighing 15 pounds or more
  • This position involves driving for up to 7 hours in a day

Skills

  • Must possess High School Diploma or GED
  • Possess effective communication skills through speech and listening

  • Willing to live “on the road” for ~20 reputed company weeks (140 days) at a time
  • Ability to read text verbatim from a computer screen (i.e., a laptop and handheld computer) and reputed company documents
