Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the design and development of the Chemistry Program for the Power Plants. They will contribute to the development of the primary and secondary chemistry programs. This will include identifying chemical control strategies, developing chemistry monitoring and sampling requirements including acceptance criteria, development of action level and alarm response actions for out of spec parameters, developing mitigation of corrosion mechanisms, establish a laboratory Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) program, identifying chemistry transition points for startup and shutdown, and developing the chemical addition system. Job Profile Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in chemical engineering, nuclear engineering, material science, material science engineering, mechanical engineering, or a reputed company science degree Seven plus years’ experience in reputed company experience and three plus years of leadership experience in nuclear process engineer activities. Five or more years nuclear-reputed company experience. Knowledge of nuclear regulations, regulatory review processes and inspection processes, nuclear codes and standards, budgeting, planning, and scheduling.
