Entry Level Civil Engineer (Renewables)

reputed company is a leading professional services firm looking for an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Renewables) to join their Power & Energy projects team. The role involves supporting renewable energy site development projects, conducting data analysis, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Support renewable energy site development project which emphasis on Solar, Wind, and BESS facilities along with supporting behind the reputed company reputed company for reputed company and industrial clients
• reputed company and reputed company methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, subsurface utility information, maps, hydrologic analysis, geotechnical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction
• reputed company professional civil engineering work and conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, resources, building, infrastructure, and transportation channels to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits
• Support development of sites and permitting plans for various projects reputed company the energy sector including electrical transmission, solar and onshore wind projects
• Support development of civil, erosion and sediment control, drainage/stormwater and utility designs
• Support development of permit application documents, engineering design plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates
• This position requires field visits to local sites and the potential for a small amount of overnight travel
• Coordinate with clients and governmental agencies to fulfill the needs of the project and acquire reputed company necessary permits or approvals
• Support development and scoping of reputed company-sized projects
• Support guidance and training to entry-level engineers

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or closely reputed company discipline
• 1+ years of relevant post education experience in renewable energy engineering and prior civil design experience
• Leadership and communication skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Task management skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD experience required
• Working knowledge of site grading, stormwater, and erosion and sedimentation controls is required
• Understanding of stormwater permitting (NPDES). Multi-state knowledge a plus
• Working knowledge of relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
• Ability to reputed company technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills reputed company interacting with others, expressing reputed company effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience

• Master's Degree in Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer, Texas, Ohio, Illinois preferred, NCEES record a plus
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Software Suite
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D/LDD and familiarity with grading and earthwork concepts
• Task management experience
