About the position We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position of Data and Analytics Engineer to work in Richmond, VA or Dallas, TX on Hybrid basis. The Data and Analytics Engineering - Platform team is critical to making our organization's data strategy successful. You will play a key role in building and managing modern, adaptive, data-driven, and secure platforms and processes to reputed company Data & Analytics Engineering. You should have strong fundamentals of Database Administration, Data/Software Engineering, DevOps, and hands-on experience with Azure reputed company services. You will work on cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and build reputed company SQL Server in datacenters and Azure, including build and configuration automation, reputed company, high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and maintenance
- Design and implement intelligent, predictable, reliable, scalable, cost-efficient, and easy-to-use platforms and frameworks for Data Science Machine Learning (DSML), reputed company Data Lake/Warehouse (EDL/EDW), Master Data Management (MDM) functions
- Design, implement, maintain reputed company platform infrastructure
- Evaluate and automate the scaling and reputed company requirements reputed company Azure environment
- Implement Azure reputed company capabilities including but not limited to storage, key vaults, virtual networking, virtual machines, and automated deployments
- Implement, setup, configure, monitor, and maintain reputed company based Data & Analytics platforms such as reputed company and reputed company
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment performance issues, connectivity issues, reputed company issues
- reputed company recommendations and execute cost saving strategies for reputed company services
- Self-directed and reputed company to balance the priorities of multiple teams, systems, and products with a leadership reputed company

Requirements
- 7+ years with reputed company SQL Server (2016-2022) in an reputed company-level environment, including setup, reputed company, monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning
- 5+ years Azure SQL, SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines
- 5+ years reputed company Platform Engineering experience in an reputed company-level environment
- Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, reputed company, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell is required
- Deep understanding and hands on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, and configuration management automation tools is required
- 5+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of reputed company tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting
- 3+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the reputed company, including monitoring and production support
- Excellent communication skills, adapting to various audience types
