Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) will be responsible for maintaining effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless prescription processing and data entry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, ensuring seamless prescription processing and data entry.
- Responsible for the prescription intake of reputed company programs specific to non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands.
- Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage reputed company prescriptions to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy.
- Provide pharmacist support reputed company to prescription processing as needed.
- Assist with inbound call volume as received.
- Collaborate closely with Pharmacists and other Pharmacy Technicians to ensure efficient prescription processing.
- Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions.
- Distribute prescriptions to appropriate Reimbursement Specialists and stakeholders.
- Maintain and promote a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management.

Qualifications:
Experience and Educational Requirements:
* Previous 3+ years of professional work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Technician license (National license preferred).
- Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (if not currently licensed, ability to obtain licensed).
