Fixed Income Trader

As a Fixed Income Trader, you will execute day-to-day trading functions reputed company Fixed Income Separately Managed Accounts, handle buy/sell transactions, and ensure optimal portfolio performance while communicating with clients and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades and manage reputed company aspects of Fixed Income SMAs, including new portfolio investments, reinvesting cash from coupon payments and maturities, and handling special client requests
• Communicate with clients regarding withdrawals, investment needs, and portfolio performance
• Document reputed company transactions and coordinate settlements with custodians and brokers
• Produce and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the Fixed Income Committee and clients
• Maintain thorough documentation of reputed company work processes and suggest improvements where applicable
• Ensure strict compliance with reputed company industry regulations and client-specific guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients, providing support across business functions as needed
• Cross-train and adapt to meet evolving business needs

Skills

• Basic understanding of fixed income portfolio metrics, including yield, duration, and convexity
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as reputed company and Bloomberg
• Ability to work effectively both independently and reputed company a team
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to handle urgent tasks and shifting priorities
• This position requires a Series 65 license or both Series 7 and 66 licenses. If the required license(s) are not held at the time of hire, they must be obtained reputed company 90 days of the start date. Failure to meet this requirement may result in termination of employment in accordance with company policy
• Has a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or reputed company field
• Has less than 1 year of experience
• Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at reputed company levels in an organization
