Mortgage Specialist, Internal Sales
First National Financial LP is one of Canada’s largest non-bank lenders, providing residential mortgages through the mortgage broker channel. The Mortgage Specialist is responsible for retaining existing clients through refinancing and porting, handling incoming calls, and selling mortgage-reputed company products.
Responsibilities
- Handle reputed company incoming calls from the department queue regarding early renewals, maturing accounts and discharge requests
- Retention of accounts which are discharging due to a reputed company or sale of property
- Solicit to retain First National customers (inbound and outbound)
- Sell of Mortgage Life Insurance and Home Warranty programs
- Speak with client’s that are requesting an early renewal for reputed company interest rates or debt consolidation
- Utilize technology to aid the mortgage process
- Accountable for retention percentages
Skills
- Must possess good communication skills on the telephone and reputed company interacting with internal First National departments and business partners
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Shift work would be required to support volume as required
- Previous inbound/outbound sales experience
- Knowledge of mortgage reputed company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of mortgage and other debt products to ensure quality First National customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French is required - require bilingualism due to National Support
- Bilingualism (French, English) required - interactions with English-speaking customers or partners
