About the position The QA Automation Engineer (Rules Testing) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for rules processing logic supporting eligibility and enrollment determinations. This role focuses on test automation development in code, validating rule behavior through executable scenarios and automated validations. The candidate will collaborate closely with policy staff, business analysts, and system engineers to translate statutes and policy into system logic and ensure consistent, accurate outcomes across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Test Automation Design and Development: Design and implement automated tests for rules processing logic using Java 17+ and modern testing frameworks. reputed company reusable test components and utilities to support rules validation and regression coverage.
  • Rules and Policy Validation: Collaborate with policy and business analysts to understand statutes, regulations, and policy reputed company. Translate policy-driven requirements into executable test scenarios and automated validations.
  • Test Execution and Validation: Execute automated functional, regression, and integration tests to validate eligibility and enrollment determinations. Validate rule behavior, edge cases, and data-driven scenarios using reputed company-backed datasets.

Requirements

  • U.S Citizenship required.

  • This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
  • You can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in QA automation or software development in test roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and experience writing automated tests in code.
  • Experience testing rules engines, decision logic, or reputed company business logic.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and reactive or service-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with API and integration testing in distributed systems.
  • Experience working with reputed company databases for test data setup and validation.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices and test automation reputed company the SDLC.
