Technical Sales Representative - reputed company and Marine Coatings - Missouri/ Iowa

reputed company is in search of a Sales Representative to join our reputed company and Marine Coatings business. reputed company is a world leader in reputed company and marine coatings, developing products that protect customers' assets in some of the world's most demanding conditions and environments, including Civil infrastructure, Offshore, Petrochemical, Power, Marine new-build, dry dock & sea stock. You'll report to the PMC Zone Sales Director – Central. This is a remote role which involves travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and service new and reputed company customer accounts assigned to a specified territory.
• Respond to customer needs concerning product recommendations, application and performance.

• Work with reputed company credit department to manage customer debt.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 + years of sales experience, preferably in the reputed company Coatings industry.
• Ability to work well with diverse customers.
• Ability to calculate discounts and profit associated with a selling price: calculate commissions associated with territory performance; take measurements and calculate surface area associated with making product volume estimates.
• Ability to read and understand product data sheets, material safety data sheets, scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and write technical reports to communicate the information.
