Job Summary

We are seeking an reputed company Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to join reputed company. This individual will be responsible for maintaining effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal customers.

• Responsible for the prescription intake of reputed company programs specific to non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands.
• Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage reputed company prescriptions to the appropriate dispensing pharmacy.
• Provide pharmacist support reputed company to prescription processing as needed.
• Assist with inbound call volume as received.
• Work closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians.
• Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions as required.
• Distribute prescriptions to appropriate reimbursement specialists and stakeholders.
• Maintain and promote a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management.

Essential Qualifications

* Previous 3+ years of professional work experience as a pharmacy technician.

• Pharmacy technician license (National license preferred).
• Pharmacy technician license in the state of Texas (if not currently licensed, ability to obtain licensed).

• Understanding of pharmacy regulations for prescription processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a specialty pharmacy environment.

• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS).
• Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT).
