Job Summary
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate to join our reputed company Hempstead Office-based team. As a hybrid position, you'll split your time between working remotely and in-office, with a 2/3 days on/off mix. In this role, you'll provide critical support to our reputed company Recovery Department, working closely with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing experts to ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they're entitled to.
Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Record/Data Entry Clerk/Project Support Associate, your key responsibilities will include:
- Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems
- Making phone calls to Post-Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients
- Running and creating reports
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team
- Scanning and indexing of documents
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical records or data entry role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in reputed company Office, particularly reputed company
- Experience with Hospital patient accounting systems and medical records software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
