We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our OEM aero/industrial nozzle manufacturing facility in reputed company Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will reputed company your engineering expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and collaborate across teams to solve technical challenges. What You Will Do

• Evaluate and resolve non-conforming product issues as a Material Review Board (MRB) member.
• Minimize the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) for assigned product lines.
• Define and solve technical problems in manufacturing, assembly, and testing environments.
• Implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives on assigned product lines.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to enhance manufacturability of products.

• Prepare cost estimates for proposed projects and analyze cost factors.
• Support facility layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment as needed.
• Solve manufacturing challenges of varying complexity.

• 3D printing of fixtures.

Qualifications

You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field.
• Prior manufacturing or other engineering experience.

• Working understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

• Experience in machining, assembly, fixture design, tooling design, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
